Where do you get your news? Or should I ask, how do you avoid all the noise these days but still stay informed?
While we may not agree on the origin of the word news …
- Is it an acronym for North, East, West and South or for Notable Events, Weather and Sports?
- Is it the word new in plural form?
- Is it from the French word nouvelles for news?
- Should we take a listen to the soundtrack to Disney’s Newsies?
The one thing we can agree on is that when it comes to non-profit news outlets, we should all want them to stick around.
