New report on New Jersey Wealth Migration

Migration of Wealth in New Jersey and the Impact on Wealth and Philanthropy , a new report released by the Community Foundation of NJ and the state Chamber of Commerce, tracks wealth migration from NJ from 1999 through 2008. Governor Releases Transition Team Reports
On Friday, January 22, 2010, Governor Christie released the reports and recommendations of his transition team and subcommittees, covering the departments, agencies and authorities of the state.     The economy is continuing to take its toll on New Jersey non-profits, and the short-term outlook is not encouraging, according to an updated survey conducted by the Center for Non-Profits. New Jersey Non-Profit Economic Trends Update is the latest in a series of surveys by the Center to gauge trends, experiences and projections of New Jersey non-profit organizations.     New Jersey RETURN-to-Work Program

    The RETURN-to-Work program is designed to help get long-term unemployed New Jerseyans back on the payroll and into jobs while assisting employers grow their businesses by hiring new workers. Employers would receive up to $2,400 per newly hired employee.

    New Jersey's Family Leave Insurance Law
    New Jersey's new Family Leave Insurance law (FLI) enables eligible employees to collect up to six-weeks of state paid monetary benefits when out of work to care for a newborn, newly adopted child, or an ill family member. This insurance law is an extension of the State Temporary Disability Benefits Program and applies to employers of all sizes.     COBRA Subsidy Law Summary
    The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA, also known as the economic stimulus bill) was enacted on February 17, 2009, and makes key changes to the continuation of health coverage provisions of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 ("COBRA").
